Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Servicing Specialist to join our Loan Servicing team. This role is responsible for managing the full-loan servicing cycle for real estate investors. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial reconciliation skills and exceptional customer service. This position is a critical point of contact for our borrowers and internal stakeholders, handling everything from daily servicing activities to managing loan extensions and coordinating investor exits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full loan servicing cycle, including onboarding, payment processing, escrow tracking, extensions, and exits.
  • Perform daily financial reconciliation of loan payments, payoffs, escrow balances, and disbursements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for real estate investors throughout the servicing lifecycle.
  • Coordinate loan extensions, maturity management, and exit strategies in collaboration with underwriting and asset management teams.
  • Respond to borrower and investor inquiries by phone and email with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.
  • Document all servicing activities in the loan management system, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Proactively identify and escalate servicing issues or risks.
  • Maintain a high level of service and communication in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in lending is required with private lending industry experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of investor loan products, draw schedules, and servicing processes.
  • Proven expertise in financial reconciliation and managing payment workflows.
  • Experience supporting borrowers through loan extensions and payoff/exit transactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be confident and clear on the phone.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Familiarity with loan servicing platforms, CRM systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Asset management experience is a plus.
