About Job
We are seeking a dedicated housing counseling coordinator, who will work directly with clients facing housing issues. The housing counseling coordinator interacts with clients by scheduling appointments, collecting documents and preparing documents for appointments. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, strong attention to detail and knowledge of the housing industry.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
This position provides clerical and administrative support to the counseling unit and requires strong oral communication skills and good writing skills. The position also requires demonstrated proficiency in keyboarding, general office skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including the Internet and e-mail. The ability to relate to clients and potential clients from a variety of cultural, educational, and socioeconomic backgrounds is essential. Good organization skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently are also required. Additionally, this position requires strong attention to detail and must be able to prioritize job tasks. This is position is fast paced and ideal for someone who likes to stay busy in their work day.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $31,500.00 per year

- Coordinates PA Housing Finance Agency Homeowners Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program and Foreclosure Prevention appointments and submits required documents to PHFA
- Collects and coordinators documents for pre-close and pre-purchase housing counseling sessions
- Manage Housing Counseling DocuSign Inbox
- Formats documents for electronic signature and emails to clients
- Retrieves client emails and saves documents to appropriate client folder and Client Management System.
- As need or requested, send appropriate follow-up documents, such as surveys, to housing counseling clients and clients participating in other agency initiatives
- Participates in quality assurance initiatives of the organization and completes special projects as assigned.
