We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Liaison to join our team. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including local organizations, businesses, and residents.
• Coordinate volunteer management efforts, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers.
• Engage in public speaking opportunities to represent the organization at community events and meetings.
• Supervise program activities and ensure they align with organizational goals and community needs.
• Lead program development initiatives that address community issues and promote organizational objectives.
• Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform administrative tasks related to community outreach efforts, including reporting and documentation.
• Manage social media platforms to enhance community engagement and promote upcoming events or initiatives.
• Assist in fundraising efforts by identifying potential donors and organizing fundraising events.

Experience

• Proven experience in volunteer management is highly desirable.
• Strong public speaking skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
• Background in supervising teams or programs effectively.
• Demonstrated ability in program development tailored to community needs.
• Leadership experience that showcases the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Familiarity with data collection methods for evaluating program success.
• Administrative skills including organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Experience in social media management for outreach purposes is a plus.
• Knowledge of fundraising strategies or recruiting practices is beneficial but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
