Position Summary


A growing behavioral health program is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its team full-time. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and adolescents. The position offers flexibility through a hybrid model, combining in-person care at Bronx locations with telepsychiatry services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for patients under 18
  • Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, primary care providers, and school-based staff
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
  • Participate in care coordination and case conferences as part of an integrated care model
  • Support program development for pediatric and adolescent mental health services


Qualifications

  • MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Active and unrestricted New York State medical license
  • DEA license and Suboxone waiver (or willingness to obtain)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with diverse pediatric populations
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to care
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and hybrid models of service
