JOB SUMMARY:

The MSW assists the patient and family with health related financial, social and emotional concerns and assists with effective coping skills and provides social work services in accordance with the plan of care. Additionally, the Social Worker identifies risks or threats to the patient's health in the patient's environment and promptly implements appropriate interventions to reduce risks and communicates identification of risks/ threats to the patient to the physician and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's or doctorate from an accredited school of social work.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in medical social work, preferred.
• Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
