Full-Time Behavior Technician (BT or RBT)

Location: Silver Spring/Burtonsville, MD

Aligned Vision Behavior (AVB) is on a mission to provide quality in-home ABA services to clients aged 1 to 21 years old in order to increase skills and reduce behaviors that have been negatively impacting success. About the Role:

In this role, you will implement behavior goals in the home setting for 2 different clients aged 3 and 5 years old with moderate behavior. You will work closely with your supervisor (BCBA) to implement goals through remote and in-person supervision. Data collection is an integral part of this role as well and this person must be comfortable collecting data.

Compensation:

The pay is between $22.00 - $29.00/hour depending on experience, with a higher hourly rate for hours worked on the weekend.

Position Requirements:

• Experience in ABA preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology or related field preferred
• At least 1-year experience working with children is highly preferred
• Experience working with children with challenging behavior is a plus
• Must be willing to complete the requirements to obtain RBT certification through our organization.
• Comfortable working weekends for more pay per hour (weekend work is dependent on client needs)
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
