About your Role:
As a PRN Youth Peer Support Specialists, will provide support to youth who are experiencing a mental health crisis by sharing your lived experience to help promote recovery and resiliency. This position helps youth in understanding their role in accessing services, becoming informed consumers of services and self-advocacy within a crisis center setting. The staff at our Community Crisis Center work as part of an interdisciplinary team focusing on crisis intervention skills to de-escalate, treat and stabilize behavioral health needs of individuals.

  • $18-$19/hour
  • PRN: Daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
  • Overnight pay differential
  • PRN stipend for every three shifts covered within a 60-day period

  • Peer support certificate issued by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare- If not certified, please see below**
  • Ability to obtain Optum Idaho Youth Peer Support Endorsement
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting with ID DHW.
