Position Description: MSAD #11 is seeking a dynamic and compassionate School Social Worker to join our Student Support Team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and interventions to students, including individual and group counseling sessions, as well as crisis response.
- Collaborate with special educators, support staff, service providers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement strategies that address student needs.
- Assist school teams with social-emotional learning, behavior intervention planning, and attendance improvement efforts.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district policies and state/federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering data-informed feedback to support the development of appropriate goals.
- Conduct regular progress monitoring to track student growth and inform service adjustments.
- Travel routinely between assigned school sites to provide consistent support across settings.
