Position Overview:

• Job Type: Part-Time - (5 days/week - 6 hrs/day)
• Duration: Current Academic Year (2025)
• Grade Levels: Highschool
• Work Environment: Supportive school setting with collaboration among educators, counselors, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services to students and families to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans to enhance student success
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and external agencies to ensure students receive necessary resources
• Advocate for students and families to improve academic performance and overall well-being
• Assist in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and case management
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture through mental health initiatives

Qualifications:

• LCSW / LMSW
• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred, but not required
• Active School Social Worker license in Massachusetts
• Strong knowledge of social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies and student intervention techniques
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
