- Working closely with patients, providers and other staff to schedule appointments and obtain authorization for primary or specialty appointments and diagnostic testing.
- Tracking information regarding appointments and admissions outside the medical home and communicating status or delays to the care team.
- Ensuring a record of care that occurs outside the EMR is received and added to the patient's electronic medical record (EMR).
- Education: HS diploma
- Experience: Preferred 3 years clinical or other healthcare experience
- Skills: Customer Service, medical terminology
- Licensure/Certification: N/A
- Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
