Requirements:

Applicants must meet all Nebraska state and local requirements for School Psychologists, including:

Valid Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) Special Services Certificate with an endorsement in School Psychology
Completion of a state-approved School Psychology program
Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field
Successful completion of a background check and fingerprint clearance
Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and MTSS procedures
Previous school-based experience preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine eligibility for special education services
Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
Provide counseling, consultation, and intervention services to students
Support students academic, social, behavioral, and emotional development
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Monitor student progress and participate in RTI/MTSS interventions
