Requirements:

Applicants must meet all Nebraska state and local requirements for School Psychologists, including:

• Valid Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) Special Services Certificate with an endorsement in School Psychology

• Completion of a state-approved School Psychology program

• Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field

• Successful completion of a background check and fingerprint clearance

• Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and MTSS procedures

• Previous school-based experience preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine eligibility for special education services

• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational teams

• Provide counseling, consultation, and intervention services to students

• Support students academic, social, behavioral, and emotional development

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

• Monitor student progress and participate in RTI/MTSS interventions
