Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Join our team as a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide vital mental health and emotional counseling services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
You will collaborate closely with our Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to deliver comprehensive care that adapts to each individual's evolving needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide as-needed counseling services to residents with Mental Health and/or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
- Cover the full spectrum of emotional/mental health counseling services as requested by the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
- Conduct evaluations of recommended treatments for each IDT-referred resident.
- Confirm that services can be effectively completed in an office setting, based on the individual needs.
- Counseling services will include, but are not limited to:
- Initial assessment
- Individual counseling
- Family counseling
- Grief counseling
- Anger management
- Sexual appropriateness
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas.
- Experience working with individuals with Mental Health and/or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) setting.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $34.00 - $44.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
