JOB SUMMARY
The Primary Care Manager serves as the first point of contact for clients at our state licensed behavioral health group practice. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, engaging clients in recovery from the moment they enter the facility, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the operational needs of the practice to ensure a smooth client experience.
Position Performance Requirements:
- Client Interaction: Greet clients in a professional and compassionate manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems, coordinating with counselors, peer support, medical staff, and clients.
- Referral: Facilitate patient engagement and follow-up in care. Conduct outreach contact activities and coordinate referral to appropriate allied agencies.
- Client Intake: Assist with intake processes, including collecting client information, verifying insurance, and explaining practice policies.
- Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle inquiries from clients and third parties promptly and courteously.
- Community Connections: Facilitate interagency or outside referrals to evidence-based psychosocial treatments as directed by other team members.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate client records, process payments, and manage billing inquiries in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Office Organization: Keep the reception area clean and organized, manage office supplies, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and support for client care. Establish and maintain productive working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, and the public
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive client information with discretion and adhere to all privacy and compliance standards. At all times maintain strict adherence to Federal and State Confidentiality Laws and HIPAA regulations.
- Advocate: Assist patients in learning to advocate for themselves and, when necessary, advocate for them with coworkers, other agencies, and larger advocacy organizations.
Education Requirements:
* bachelor's degree in a human services field, or
* a minimum of two years of experience serving individuals with behavioral health issues, or
* equivalent combination of education and experience
Hiring preference will be given to Certified Behavioral Health Peer Support Specialist candidates
Initial Employment:
Evaluations will be conducted by the Business Director on an ongoing basis during the initial 6-month probationary period. Position eligible for paid time off and sick leave following probationary period, and organizational holidays immediately in accordance with Dynamic Recovery’s personnel policies.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
