As a K-12 school-based Social Worker in Carpentersville, IL your Days Will Include

• Evaluating students’ mental health, social-emotional skills, and behavioral needs through observations, interviews, and standardized assessments
• Creating and implementing personalized strategies to help students succeed academically and socially, collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Responding to crises such as trauma, bullying, family issues, or behavioral escalations, providing immediate support and long-term coping strategies
• Acting as a liaison between students, parents, and school staff to ensure a comprehensive, successful approach to student support

Job Details

• Hours: Full-time
• Caseload: K-12th grade

Successful Candidates Possess

• Masters Degree in Social Work (required)
• An active Department of Education state licensure, or ability to obtain (required)
• Must Have Professional Educator License (PEL) to be considered (required)
• Experience in a school setting (required)
• The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
