About Job

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, particularly in child family counseling and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and support to patients in a hospital setting. The Psychologist will play a crucial role in enhancing the mental health and well-being of our clients through evidence-based practices.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
  • Provide therapy and counseling services to children and families, focusing on their unique challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Engage in research activities to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices and knowledge.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment progress accurately in accordance with hospital protocols.

Experience

  • Post-residency experience preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.
  • Proven experience in patient care, particularly with children and families facing developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and psychological testing.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in psychology.
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to conduct research related to psychological practices and contribute to ongoing learning within the field.
