Board Certified Behavior Analyst Qualifications:

  • BCBA Certification: Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
  • Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in ABA or a related field (Psychology, Education, Special Education).
  • Transportation: Reliable personal transportation, including a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Ability to work both in-clinic and in-home settings.
  • Assessment Expertise: Proficiency in using ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP, and PEAK assessment tools.
  • Physical Engagement: Capable of engaging with clients in various settings—whether playing in a gym, working at a table, or interacting on the floor—based on client needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Dedication to meeting scheduling commitments with reliability and integrity.
  • Team-Oriented: A positive, professional attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement BIPs: Create and execute individualized Behavior Intervention Plans tailored to each client’s needs.
  • RBT Supervision and Training: Provide supervision, guidance, and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure high-quality care.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the Clinical Director, behavior therapists, RBTs, clients, and their caregivers to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Caseload Management: Effectively manage a diverse caseload, addressing a wide range of ages, behavioral repertoires, and therapeutic needs.
  • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and prepare detailed progress reports as needed.
  • Goal Setting and Adjustment: Create, update, and modify client goals based on ongoing assessments and evolving needs.
  • Data Review: Regularly review documentation and data collection to ensure accuracy and inform treatment decisions.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies and procedures with a commitment to excellence.
  • Confidentiality Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Professional Development: Attend and actively participate in monthly meetings and training sessions.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the program.
