At Colorful Minds ABA, located in Chicago, IL, we specialize in play-based, personalized ABA therapy to empower children with autism and their families across the Chicagoland area.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are passionate about helping children grow and thrive. Whether you're experienced in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or new to the field and eager to learn, you'll receive comprehensive hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide 1:1 therapy using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Support social and peer play groups
  • Teach communication, social, problem-solving, and daily living skills
  • Track client progress with real-time data collection
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and caregivers to support individual goals
  • Maintain a safe, fun, and engaging environment

What You Bring:

  • Age 18+ with a high school diploma (college experience a plus!)
  • Passion for working with children and individuals with autism
  • Strong communication, time management, and tech skills
  • Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and valid license
  • Experience in ABA or child development is a bonus—but not required!

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, bend, and move freely for extended periods throughout a therapy session.
  • Must be able to move quickly in response to a child's behavior (e.g., elopement, aggression).
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of home and community settings.
  • Must have the physical stamina to engage in play-based interaction and behavior intervention for up to 6-8 hours per day.
