Family First Adolescent Services is expanding and we are looking to add a member to our clinical team.

Our organization believes in a relational and developmental approach to working with clients and families, as well as supporting staff with their continuing development. We cover the cost for our entire clinical team to complete the NeuroAffective Relational Model clinical training, in addition to personally selected trainings that our clinicians believe would support their continued growth.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be working with compassionate and motivated members of our interdisciplinary treatment team. Our clients present with a variety of mental health, substance use, and behavioral disorders. At FFAS, the entire family is our client, so there is a large focus on helping each member of the family find healing.

A Licensed Mental HealthTherapist will be creating treatment plans, facilitating weekly trauma-informed individual counseling, conducting family therapy, group coaching, and teaching psychoeducational material as a means of supporting the healing process for adolescents and their families. This position is ideal for individuals interested in a supportive and nurturing treatment setting with a lot of care and attention given to supervision and training. Our clinical team utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities within the context of a clinical orientation that is deeply rooted in interpersonal neurobiology, family systems theory, attachment theory and somatic psychology within a mindfulness-based approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in a Psychology related field -Required
  • LMHC, LCSW, LMFT - One Required
  • Professional treatment experience in a residential facility setting - experience with adolescents preferred but not required.
  • Advanced training in trauma therapy models such as Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, NARM, TRE, etc.
  • Proficient documentation skills and habits with EMR system experience
