Work Schedule: 5 hours each day with 1/2 hr. unpaid break

M/Tu: 1.00 to 6.30pm

Wed/Thu: 8.00am to 1.30pm

Fri: 12.30 to 6.00pm

Job responsibilities for Intake Coordinator / Referral Coordinator / Case Manager:

• Front Desk: Manage incoming patients
• Therapists Interaction: Maintain therapists’ caseload
• Incoming Referrals: Effectively manage incoming referrals to convert to patients
• Coordinate benefits verification, pre-certifications, claims follow-ups and appeals
• Clearly communicate with parents: about their benefits, financial responsibilities, facilitate Early Intervention to in-clinic conversion

Education/Experience Requirements for Intake Referral Coordinator / Case Manager:

• Associates Degree in Medical Billing, Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Speech, Substance Abuse Counseling, Healthcare, Infant Toddler,
• 2+ years of working with EMR Software like Raintree or other EMR systems.
• Must be technology savvy.... this is a MUST!
• Familiarity with Medical Insurance Terminology
• Knowledge of the IL Early Intervention program is a plus
• Skills: Medical Claims, Customer Service, Early Intervention, Electronic Medical Records, Office Administration, Interpersonal Communication, High Level of Accuracy, Microsoft Office.
