EPIC Health Partners is seeking Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC/CSAC-E) to join our growing team as group facilitators. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities across treatment settings, including in-office, virtual, and weekend-based services. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about guiding individuals through their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic group counseling sessions using evidence-based practices
- Support clients in developing and implementing treatment goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, and EHP standards
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors and program directors to ensure quality care
- Provide crisis support and service coordination as needed
- Promote a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervision
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of substance use disorders and relapse prevention
- Ability to facilitate engaging, therapeutic group sessions
- Familiarity with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality standards
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
- Commitment to ethical, person-centered care
Available Shifts
- Weekday availability (Monday–Friday, flexible scheduling)
- Saturday: 6-hour on-site shift at the residential facility
- Sunday: 90-minute virtual group session
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- CSAC or CSAC-E certification in Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of experience providing mental health and/or addiction services in individual, family, or group settings
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Verification of Tuberculosis (TB) screening
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered
