Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Psychologists in the Columbus, Georgia area for the upcoming school year.
Details:
- Location: Columbus, GA
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:
- Valid School Psychologist Certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC).
- Completion of a graduate-level program in School Psychology.
- Strong skills in evaluation, consultation, intervention, and collaboration.
- Prior experience in school settings is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
