Position Overview:
The Part-Time Social Worker will be responsible for providing support and intervention to individuals and families dealing with a wide array of social, emotional, and behavioral issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of social services, and a commitment to serving our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct client assessments to evaluate needs, strengths, and challenges.
Develop and implement individualized plans based on client needs and goals.
Provide direct counseling and support to clients.
Facilitate access to community resources and services, including healthcare, housing, and financial assistance.
Collaborate with other professionals, including psychologists, healthcare providers, and community leaders, to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies and licensing requirements.
Advocate for clients’ rights and help them navigate systems to obtain necessary services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) from an accredited program.
Active state licensure (LBSW, LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent) preferred.
Previous experience in a social work environment, particularly with diverse populations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and case management software.
Knowledge of community resources and social service programs.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends if necessary.
