South Texas Children’s Home Ministries (STCH Ministries) Counseling Ministries currently has an opening for a Counselor serving our counseling office in Corpus Christi, Texas. Applicants must be a licensed counselor or licensed counseling associate; have passed the National Counseling Exam (NCE); and hold a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited university.

The candidate for this position will play a front-line role in serving children and families in need through the Counseling Ministries of STCH Ministries. The Therapist will foster social, behavioral, personal, and spiritual growth for clients and families through professional therapy. The Counselor will also teach and present seminar material as opportunities are available and as requested by STCH Ministries staff leadership. Additionally, the Counselor must understand and support the mission of STCH Ministries and its programs and faith tradition.
