This position seeks a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to provide psychological services within a K-12 school setting. The role involves a four-day workweek, primarily focused on assessment and evaluation, with some counseling responsibilities.

Location:

• Pearland, TX
• Services provided across three campuses located within walking distance

Schedule and Caseload:

• 30 hours per week, Monday through Thursday
• Contract duration: Non-school year (NSY)
• Manage a caseload of approximately 120 students, focusing mainly on assessments and evaluations
• Counseling provided as needed
• ARD meetings are required only if an evaluation necessitates participation

Responsibilities:

• Conduct formal assessments and evaluations to identify students psychological and educational needs
• Provide counseling services to support students emotional and behavioral development
• Collaborate with educational staff to interpret assessment results and develop interventions
• Maintain accurate case documentation and reports
• Participate in ARD meetings when required based on evaluation outcomes

Qualifications:

• Valid LSSP certification/licensure
• Experience working within a K-12 educational environment preferred
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills
• Ability to manage a large caseload effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
