in the lives of our students? As a Residential Counselor, you will be
able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by
bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our
students!
The Walden Street Schoolis a residential treatment setting for
adolescents that specializes intrauma-informed care.Walden provides
24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, full clinical
staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.

Multiple options for schedules to accommodate work life balance.
Three-, four- and five-day work weeks available.

*Due to the nature of our work and the youth who depend on us, there are
times where overtime may be mandated.*
JRI Provides the Training So That:

including offsite fieldtrips,andmore!
- YOU willbe able to create a safe and therapeuticcommunitybysupporting
students in developingandbyrole modelingeffective copingstrategies.
- YOU will helpstudentsdiscover what makes them feel competent and
valuedby working with themto develop life skills suchas cooking,
banking, vocational skills, and more.Yourday-to-dayworkwillsupport
studentsindeveloping a sense of selfandprovide them with the skills to
be successful in their next steps.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Maintains valid drivers license as transporting students is required.
- Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
- At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal
de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our
students!
- Background and driving record checkswill be performed.
