Position: Residential Aide

Program: Women’s Bridge

Location: Groton

Salary: $17.00

Schedule: Full time, 32 hours, 2nd shift, Friday-Monday (2:30-10:30p)

Position Summary:

The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care. This includes activities of daily living and providing support for safety, health, and wellness. This position also assists program staff. The ideal candidate will establish, develop, and maintain respectful relationships with the people served. The Residential Aide will participate in maintaining a safe, harm-free environment for all residents.

Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide within the Women's Bridge program works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
  • Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
