Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services. This includes answering phones, returning messages, and managing email communication.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time slots.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with insurance verification and processing, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate optimal care.
- Support the office team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Ensure the office environment is welcoming and organized for patients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a chiropractic, physical therapy, medical or dental office preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and payment processing.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient in using office software and electronic health record systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
