Job Title: Medical Director- Psychiatry

Classification: .25 FTE (this can be stand alone or combined with a .75 commission based provider role)
Reports to: Clinical Director
Location: Hybrid/In-Office
Summary: Medical Director- Psychiatry is responsible for oversight and continued development of the psychiatry department, management of administrative and clinical staff and liaison for independent contractors. This role is interactive with internal and external stakeholders to provide high quality psychiatric services. This role is also responsible for ensuring the department's alignment with LynLake’s values, mission and goals.

Maximum salary/hourly: $150/hour
Sign on bonus: $3,000-$5,000

Essential Functions:
Psychiatry Team Leadership & Management
- Provides clinical oversight, guidance, and leadership to psychiatric providers, assistants, and referrals coordinator, supporting the delivery of effective, client-centered care
- Assists with onboarding of new psychiatry team members
- Leads monthly meetings with the Psychiatry Team
- Addresses provider performance issues in conjunction with Clinical and Human Resource Directors
- Oversees psychiatric services provided within Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) Program
- Works with leadership to ensure KAP services are provided within standards of care and safety
- Provides guidance for KAP program development
- Completes occasional onsite medication audits
- Establishes and maintains quality assurance protocols, including monthly clinical audits and outcome measurement, to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Ensures compliance with healthcare regulation, accreditation standards, and ethical guidelines in all aspects of care.
- Monitors client satisfaction, responds to client complaints and implements policies to resolve issues and prevent future ones.
- Identifies and integrates methods to improve the client experience and departmental workflows
- Develops and executes strategic plans for the psychiatry department, aligning services with organizational goals and objectives.
- Leads the development of new psychiatric programs and services, staying abreast of best practices and emerging treatments.
- Engages with the community, mental health organizations, and partners to promote mental health awareness and expand service reach.
- Management of medical contracts.

Qualifications:
- Must be licensed MD or PMHNP by the State of Minnesota to practice medicine and must be a graduate of accredited institution
- Must have board certification in psychiatry.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of psychiatry, with at least 2 years of leadership experience required
- Knowledge of, or experience in, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
- Leadership or healthcare management certifications.
