A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to provide support during the Extended School Year (ESY) period at an elementary school setting. This role involves delivering targeted psychological services to young students, ensuring their developmental and emotional needs are met during the summer months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one hour per week of psychological services over the course of the ESY session.
  • Conduct 30 minutes of counseling for pre-kindergarten students.
  • Provide an additional 30 minutes of counseling for first-grade students.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff as needed to support student success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students.
  • Ability to deliver counseling services tailored to pre-K and first-grade needs.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to working efficiently within the designated part-time hours.
