About the Role:
Tivolisworld LLC is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Social Worker to support residents in our group homes, veteran housing, and rehabilitation housing programs. This role focuses on helping individuals navigate life challenges, improve well-being, and access critical resources for long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling and emotional support to residents facing mental health, substance use, or life adjustment issues.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans based on residents’ needs and goals.
- Advocate for residents and connect them with essential services including healthcare, housing assistance, employment, and legal aid.
- Collaborate with internal staff and external agencies to coordinate a network of support.
- Support residents during crises, including de-escalation and referral to emergency services if necessary.
- Facilitate support groups and life skills workshops to promote independence and community reintegration.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all interactions and case updates.
- Monitor resident progress and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW required).
- Licensed or license-eligible in the state of employment (e.g., LSW, LMSW, LCSW preferred).
- 2+ years of social work experience in housing, mental health, rehabilitation, or veteran services.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and community-based resources.
- Strong interpersonal, advocacy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in high-stress environments and manage sensitive resident issues with empathy and professionalism.
