Job Description:
SchoolHouse Staffing is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented School Psychologist to support a district partner in Apache Junction, AZ, for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for professionals committed to student well-being, academic achievement, and inclusive practices. As a School Psychologist, you’ll provide psychological assessments, collaborate on IEP and eligibility teams, support crisis intervention efforts, and consult with educators and families to create environments where students thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and academic)
- Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP meetings
- Support implementation of behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and 504 accommodations
- Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Help lead MTSS/RTI efforts with data-informed practices
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Valid Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certification
- Experience in K–12 settings preferred
- Knowledge of special education law, IDEA, and evaluation timelines
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
