Job Description:
SchoolHouse Staffing is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented School Psychologist to support a district partner in Apache Junction, AZ, for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for professionals committed to student well-being, academic achievement, and inclusive practices. As a School Psychologist, you’ll provide psychological assessments, collaborate on IEP and eligibility teams, support crisis intervention efforts, and consult with educators and families to create environments where students thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and academic)
  • Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP meetings
  • Support implementation of behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and 504 accommodations
  • Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success
  • Help lead MTSS/RTI efforts with data-informed practices

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certification
  • Experience in K–12 settings preferred
  • Knowledge of special education law, IDEA, and evaluation timelines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
