Position Overview:

A full-time School Psychologist position is available in the Claremont, CAarea for the 20252026 school year. This role involves delivering high-quality psychological services to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students. The successful candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive student outcomes in a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns.

  • Interpret evaluation data and present findings to teachers, administrators, and families.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.

  • Provide consultation and support to school teams on intervention strategies and classroom accommodations.

  • Engage in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.

  • Deliver short-term counseling or behavioral support services as needed.

  • Assist in crisis response and prevention initiatives.

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Californiacertification or license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain).

  • Strong background in psychological testing, behavior management, and educational consultation.

  • Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant state/federal education regulations.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in K12 educational settings.

  • Familiarity with digital documentation platforms and behavioral data tracking systems.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.
