Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in the field of human services such as: psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and/or families in a CASSP related program (volunteer and internships count toward experience)
  • Ability to transport clients in your car (Valid driver's license with clear driving record)
  • Ability to provide services in a variety of locations (home, school & community)
  • Ability to be on call on a rotating schedule
  • PA State Police Criminal History Check
  • FBI Clearance completed through the Dept. of Human Services
  • PA Childline Abuse Clearance

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of families? We are looking for a dedicated Master’s Level Family Counselor (FBMHP) to join our Family Based program. This role provides a unique opportunity to offer intensive, community-based support to families in need. Our program follows the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) model, and we provide comprehensive training leading to certification, equipping you with the skills to create lasting change.

What You’ll Do

As a Family Counselor, you will:

  • Provide therapeutic interventions, crisis response, and case management to help families navigate mental health challenges.
  • Work closely with parents to strengthen family connections and develop effective behavioral strategies for their children.
  • Partner with a Bachelor’s-level Mental Health Worker to deliver therapy to up to 8 families at a time.
  • Participate in weekly supervision (group and team) for clinical support, including on-call crisis consultation when needed.
