School Psychologist Full-Time Troy, MI

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a licensed and compassionate School Psychologist for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Troy, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential psychological services that support the academic, behavioral, and emotional well-being of K-12 students in a collaborative educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning

• Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide direct and consultative services including counseling, behavior intervention planning, and crisis response

• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments and promote student success

• Analyze evaluation data and develop evidence-based recommendations tailored to individual student needs

• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations and maintain accurate documentation

• Support school-wide mental health initiatives and contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist License

• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong understanding of special education procedures, evaluation practices, and legal compliance

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
