ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Place consumers into employment.
- Recruit and conduct intake for potential program enrollment.
- Ensure the successful delivery of grant components and compliance with requirements.
- Facilitate soft skills workshops for consumers in an individual and group setting.
- Deliver services remotely and in person.
- Develop and maintain internship sites as part of the Supported Workplace Learning (SWL) component.
- Conduct business development to build employer partnerships.
- Represent the organization at Chamber events and job fairs.
- Accurately document all services provided daily in SETWorks.
- Offer intensive one-on- one on-site support to consumers at SWL sites.
- Complete and manage time sheets for consumers participating in SWL.
- Provide employment preparation and individualized job coaching.
- Participate in monthly meetings with the Lead Employment Counselor.
- Foster natural supports on the job and long-term employment support for each consumer.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, psychology, or a related field.
- Relevant work experience may be substituted in place of educational requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with job development, coaching, and support strategies preferred.
- Experience with data entry and case documentation systems such as SETWorks is a plus.
