Position Overview:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our student support team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of all students in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide comprehensive reports

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs

• Develop and support implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans

• Provide counseling and behavioral support to students individually or in small groups

• Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes

• Assist with crisis prevention and intervention services

• Support a positive and inclusive school climate

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field

• Current and valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (as required by state)

• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
