About Job

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges. You will implement and oversee behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, ensuring that each client receives personalized care and support to improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies as outlined in the treatment plans.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals.
  • Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavior management techniques.
  • Participate in diagnostic evaluations to identify specific behavioral issues.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques.
  • Experience working with children and individuals with disabilities.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment and patient care methodologies.
  • Knowledge of medical records management and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and team members.
  • Ability to analyze behavioral data for informed decision-making.
  • Compassionate approach towards individuals with behavioral health challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively.
