We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Houston, TX for the 2025-2026school year. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to work with a K-12 caseload and make a meaningful impact on the academic and emotional well-being of students throughout the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, focusing on emotional, social, and behavioral development.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for students facing immediate mental health challenges.
  • Offer guidance and strategies to staff and parents on promoting positive student behaviors and well-being.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure the coordination of services and support for students.
  • Advocate for students' mental health needs and assist in creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Active Texas School Psychologist License.
  • Experience in a K-12 school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population of students, staff, and families.
