LifeStance Health is hiring part-time and full-time licensed psychologists (PhD/PsyD) and/or licensed therapists (social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists) in the Orlando, FL area with excellent communication skills and clinical acumen to join our Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team! This position is imbedded in an OB/GYN clinic and the clinician will serve as a core member of the collaborative care team as well as the larger medical team. The IBH clinician will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the mental and physical health care of patients with the patient’s OB/GYN provider and, when appropriate, other mental health professionals.

Serve as a key member of the Collaborative Care team, which consists of the OB/GYN provider and a psychiatric consultant. The clinician will support the mental and physical health care of patients, closely coordinate care with the Collaborative Care team, and other mental health providers where appropriate.
Work with women on presenting concerns across the lifespan. These concerns range from pre-conception (e.g., premenstrual dysphoric disorder, fertility), to pregnancy (e.g., anxiety in pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, pregnancy loss), to postpartum (e.g., birth trauma, postpartum depression/anxiety) through menopause (e.g., sexual dysfunction, mood changes).
Screen/assess patients for common mental health and substance use conditions, facilitate patient engagement and follow up care.
Provide brief behavioral interventions using evidence-based techniques such as behavioral activation, problem-solving treatment, motivational interviewing, or other treatments as appropriate.
Participate in regularly scheduled caseload consultation with the psychiatric consultant and communicate resulting treatment recommendations to the patient’s medical provider.
Track patient follow up and clinical outcomes using a registry.
Facilitate treatment plan changes for patients who are not improving as expected in consultation with the OB/GYN provider and the psychiatric consultant. This may include coordinating care for those who may need more intensive or more specialized mental health treatment.
Address urgent needs as they arise through warm hand-offs and curbside consultation.
