We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The Social Worker will work closely with clients in various settings, including hospitals and community environments, to promote well-being and facilitate access to necessary resources.

Duties

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized care plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on mental health issues such as PTSD and other trauma-related conditions.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to assist clients in immediate distress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations to coordinate care and support services.
• Engage in data collection and documentation of client progress for effective case management.
• Offer home community care services to clients who require assistance in their living environments.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at fostering peer support and shared experiences among clients.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions with clients.

Qualifications

• A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure may be preferred or required based on state regulations.
• Experience in special education or working with diverse populations is a plus.
• Strong skills in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management are essential.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment while maintaining a client-centered approach.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
