Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Resident Care Coordinator who ensures that all residents receive the proper care and support they need while adhering to all facility regulations and standards.
Responsibilities include coordinating staff schedules, supervising healthcare services, managing budgets, and ensuring that residents receive high quality care.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a supervisor role within a healthcare setting, excellent communication skills, and a strong dedication to patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assessing the needs of residents and developing care plans accordingly
- Coordinating and scheduling staff to ensure proper coverage
- Training and supervising staff
- Ensuring all care services are provided in a safe and effective manner
- Managing budgets and resources
- Maintaining detailed records of residents' health conditions and treatments
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicating regularly with patients' families about their health and progress
- Conducting regular assessments to monitor the quality of care provided
- Organizing activities for residents to stimulate mental health and physical activity
- Handling any complaints or issues and implementing changes if necessary
Requirements
- Proven work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a Residential Care Coordinator
- Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Experience with healthcare software and MS Office
- BS Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or relevant field
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
