About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide mental health services in a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial mental health assessments, including substance abuse and psychological history
- Perform suicide risk evaluations and respond to patient crises
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Conduct mental status exams and collaborate on complex cases
- Assist patients with benefits applications and community program referrals
- Support transitions across care settings and facilitate discharge planning
- Participate in audits and provide relevant data as needed
- Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted LCSW license in the state of California
- Minimum of 36 months of relevant experience within the last 5 years (excluding internships)
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
- Ability to work effectively in diverse environments, including housing units or inpatient settings
- Must meet all documentation, confidentiality, and mandatory reporting standards
Preferred Skills
- Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable using electronic health record systems (EHRs)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $90.00 - $95.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
