Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in a psychiatric setting, including assessment, evaluation, and implementation of nursing interventions.

- Administer medications and treatments as needed.

- Monitor and document patient progress and behavior.

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.

- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatments, and coping strategies.

Requirements:

- Valid RN license with psychiatric specialty certification.

- Experience in primary care settings with knowledge of Athenahealth software.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

- Compassion, empathy, and understanding towards patients with mental health issues.

Job Types: Full-time, PRN

Pay: $72.00 - $80.00 per hour
