• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Leisure Studies with an emphasis on recreational therapy or CTRS certification.
• Experience in mental health or with specific age groups is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
• Must demonstrate initiative, responsibility, and flexibility, with the ability to understand research and utilize computer applications effectively.
• Ability to write clear documentation and make routine decisions per departmental policies is required.
• Certification requirements include obtaining BLS within 90 days; CTRS is preferred.
