Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness while managing side effects.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Obtain pharmacogenetics testing and interpret results with patients.
Utilizing pharmacogenetics results to tailor medications for patients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems.
Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Attend monthly team meetings and marketing meetings.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry or Mental Health.
Current Nurse Practitioner license with certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
Experience in patient care, particularly in psychiatric settings.
Certified in BLS
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Ability to pass any required background checks or screenings.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Permanent

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
