Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and special education, with a focus on providing high-quality assessments and interventions for individuals with disabilities. This role involves working closely with children and their families to develop effective treatment plans that promote positive behavior changes and enhance overall quality of life.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure cohesive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Advocate for the needs of individuals with disabilities within educational and community settings.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children in special education or behavioral health settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and medical documentation.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and record keeping.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and their families.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.
- A compassionate approach towards clients, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
