Shift: Monday Friday, Day ShiftJob Description:The Hospital Social Worker applies a holistic, patient-centered approach to provide medical social services to individuals of all ages, from prenatal to elderly. The goal is to assist patients and their families in resolving physical, emotional, social, or environmental challenges that hinder optimal health. Responsibilities include discharge planning, psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.Minimum Qualifications:Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institutionAt least 1 year of experience in a hospital or healthcare settingLicensed at the Master's level (LMSW) in Alaska or license-eligibleValid Alaska State driver's licenseBasic computer proficiencyStrong communication skills; able to present information to individuals and groupsCompetent in basic math skills for assessment and documentationPreferably experienced in cross-cultural healthcare; bilingual English/Yup'ik highly valueSalary & Compensation:Annual Salary Range: $71,489.60 $92,936.48Facility Fee: 17%Bonuses & Benefits:$10,000 sign-on bonus (with 3-year contract)$15,000 relocation and retention bonusFirst 30 days of housing providedFlight to Bethel provided Employee Benefits:Generous Paid Time Off (starting at 4.5 weeks/year, increases with tenure)11 Paid Holidays annuallyComprehensive Health CoverageLife & Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsRetirement PlansAccess to Employee Wellness CenterAnd more!#AcestackHealthcare1
