Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited residency in Psychiatry
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligible for or currently hold a Connecticut medical license
- Must be eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal/state healthcare programs
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment for patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams, including nursing, social work, and therapy staff
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
