THE OPPORTUNITY:



The College of Nursing at Washington State University Tri-Cities (WSU Tri-Cities) invites applications for a 9-month, full-time, academic year tenure-track faculty position with a 12-month, annual, administrative appointment as the Director of the Master of Social Work (MSW) Program.



Rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.



The successful applicant will be expected to develop a new program in social work at the master's level (MSW) which includes the creation of materials required for the accreditation process through the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).



The MSW Director is expected to initiate and contribute to all accreditation requirements from CSWE, as well as assist with the new degree proposal process at the university. Applications from candidates with demonstrated expertise are encouraged. The successful candidate will be expected to provide outstanding teaching at the graduate level, actively engage in scholarship, contribute to professional and university service, and participate broadly in the social work curriculum.

The position is expected to work on campus and is located on the Washington State University Tri-Cities campus in Richland, WA. The successful candidate is anticipated to begin the appointment on July 1, 2025, and is negotiable.



RANK:



This is a full-time, continuous, tenure-track faculty appointment with a fixed-term administrative role. The initial appointment for the administrative role is one year, with the possibility of renewal. Please note tenure-track faculty positions are permanent, but all faculty administrative roles are fixed term and renewable as outlined in the
